Many of the ARI articles referenced on ARI Watch are now missing from ARI’s website.  Some Op-Eds, such as those promoting Bush for president – in violation of ARI’s non-profit status – disappeared soon after their appearance.  All Op-Eds by Robert Tracinski disappeared not long after he published, after he’d left ARI, articles about the relation between philosophy and culture that contradicted Leonard Peikoff.  David Holcberg’s Letter to the Editor “Thank Pinochet” disappeared soon after it appeared.  When ARI updated its website in March 2014 articles dated before 2008 disappeared.

Below are archived copies of ARI’s disappeared foreign policy articles up to mid 2004, all but three on the Internet Wayback Machine. Then a list of titles (only) of foreign policy articles from mid 2004 to near the end of 2007. Given a title you might find a copy of the article by searching the Internet for the title in quotes along with “ayn rand institute” in quotes.

Articles endorsing or approving of Bush’s election in 2000 are colored blue. (There were two pre-election endorsements. One not archived by the Internet Wayback Machine is missing here.) The infamous “Let’s Roll” Letter to the Editor of March 20, 2003 on the eve of the Iraq invasion is colored red.
